Entrepreneurship is a passion of mine. And with entrepreneurship, comes leadership.
Since starting my own brand of handbags and accessories, SheNative, I’ve been sought out by numerous organizations, communities, and corporations to speak on panels and stages about my journey as a female Indigenous entrepreneur.
I built my brand from next to nothing, using all the resources that were available to me. Starting a business of my own was scary! It took me a few years just to get my idea off the ground. During that time I took many entrepreneurship and leadership programs, and learned from a variety of mentors, coaches, and consultants.
Now it’s my honour to pay it forward by building entrepreneurship and leadership programs that are specific to the needs of Indigenous women and girls.
Here’s a selection of the programs I’ve organized, hosted and facilitated:
BDC Indigenous WE Talk Business Boot Camps in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Ottawa, Ontario.
Aboriginal BEST Program Saskatoon for the Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC).
Saskatoon Mentorship Circles and 2 day Boot Camp for the Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC).
